No More Puppies

All of the puppies have been spoken for and most have left us. This has been such a wonderful experience and I am really sad to see them go. Although, there is comfort in knowing that they are going to good homes and will be loved as much as we love Bama.

Only 3 Boys Left!

We are down to only 3 boys and I have to say that I really am missing all of my babies. I am so glad that the new puppy parents have been keeping me updated. I'll post pictures as soon as I can but for now you can check the pictures from a couple of weeks ago to see who is left. We have the Orange Boy, the Turquoise Boy, and the Light Blue Boy. They are super sweet and have done so well with the crate training.

A Bunch of Cute Pictures

I haven't had time to post pictures in a while so here are just a few. They are growing and so much fun right now. We are down to 4 males left, maybe 3 if we decide to keep one. I am quickly falling in love with the light blue boy. He has big ears and is so cuddly! He may be a keeper!
Jolly Green Giant poses so pretty.
Bama and the puppies are getting more playful with each other. She seems to like them more now that they are not constantly looking for milk.

Bama uses them for her chew toys. They don't seem to mind though.

Darby and the Blue Boy all cuddled up after playtime!

Jolly Green and Light Blue boy take a rest! Look at those sweet eyes.

They are really loving toys now. They chew, chew, chew.

Moma and baby, too cute!

Trip to the vet!

I took all 12 of the puppies to the vet yesterday. What an adventure! They actually did great but I forgot to bring my camera! Urghhhhhh!!!!!! Anyway, they all got a clean bill of health and their first round of shots and their second deworming. The vet, Dr. W. was so impressed with them. They are such a large litter but they are all thriving and absolutely beautiful. I will post pictures soon. They are getting bigger so the poop is bigger and the mess is bigger so I have had no time for posing.

All of the girls, except for Darby (our new baby) will be leaving this weekend. I think that I will be a crying mess! We still have Orange Boy, The Jolly Green Giant, The Big Blue Boy, Turquoise Boy, and Light Blue Boy left. Although, we kind of bonded with the Light Blue Boy last night. I wish we could keep him!

The babies are now little puppies

The puppies are now playing, eating real food, and pooping all over! They are so funny. They get excited when someone comes in the room. They are starting to come when I call them and they will be ready to find new homes around November 10th. I am going to hate to see any of them go but they will be wonderful pets for other families.

Out in the Sunshine!

The puppies are now walking all around and are so alert. So, we decided to take them outside. They seemed to enjoy being in the sunshine! They are growing so fast! A couple of them even have some itty bitty teeth! I guess they will be weaned soon.

Fall is in the air!

Okay, so I was taking out my fall decorations and I just couldn't resist having some fun with the puppies and decorations. They are starting to walk all over the place and a few have their eyes open. They are so fat and funny. One started sucking on the scarecrow's foot then growled at it!

A Sweet Cup of Cocoa and a Hand full of Chocolate

The puppies are getting cuter and sweeter by the day! No make that hour. I couldn't resist putting one in the cup. They look just like chocolate bars or cocoa. And they are just as irresistible as chocolate to me!

The Girls and Boys

Bama's Babies are Here!

Our chocolate lab, Bama, had 12 babies yesterday! 6 boys and 6 girls! She did so great, actually had 3 while she was alone; then surprised us about 10 hours later with the last one. They are all chocolate and beautiful.
